Mark is a software developer and graduate computer science with experience in web development and machine learning. He has experience in Java, C++, PHP and Python as well as HTML, CSS and Javascript. In terms of machine learning he has experience in convolutional neural networks.
He build his first website when he was 12 years old. He is curious and eager to keep learning and has since expanded his experience in software development and boarded his knowledge into other fields such as data science and machine learning. After several iterations of websites and several years of studying, he recently graduated his master Computer Science on the topic “On-line and incremental learning with Convolutional Neural Networks”.
In his free time, he likes to read articles and books on a variety of topics. These topics are in both fiction as non-fiction. Mark also likes photography. He enjoys photography of landscapes, city-scapes and most of all night photography. These photos are taken on one of his trips on this planet. He has travelled around East Asia, South-East Asia and Europe.
Besides the activities above, Mark also works on personal projects in his free time. A selection of these projects can be found on the projects page of this website. He does these projects to practice and learn new skills and technologies.
After graduation, Mark was working as a software developer for web applications at a self-evaluation and auditing software company. Currently, Mark is working as a java developer on the backend of internet banking of a Dutch bank.
